The day might have even passed by me. It’s gone so quickly.<\/p>\n
A year without a beaming smile. A year without the hat.<\/p>\n
It seems so far away and yet it seems so close. It doesn’t seem like a year has gone by.<\/p>\n
I guess this is both good and bad. Good because there is a place in my heart that will be perpetually filled by a kinship and sense of love and brotherhood I’ve never felt on this level from anyone else. Bad because I feel like I’ve let something slip away from me and almost become commonplace.<\/p>\n
I look at my son… born on 9\/3 and given the name Aiden Christopher…<\/p>\n
And I know that small piece shall always shine on and live on in my heart.<\/p>\n
