{"id":2481,"date":"2008-03-03T23:28:00","date_gmt":"2008-03-04T05:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lordandrei.com\/blog\/?p=2481"},"modified":"2008-03-03T23:28:00","modified_gmt":"2008-03-04T05:28:00","slug":"1130-pm-in-redmond","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.lordandrei.com\/blog\/2008\/03\/03\/1130-pm-in-redmond\/","title":{"rendered":"11:30 pm in Redmond"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wow, what the hell am I doing up at this hour and not at home?<\/p>\n<p>Well, I had one of those rare bugs dumped on my plate that while not <i>really<\/i> difficuly, is time consuming.<\/p>\n<p>It also would be a <i>really<\/i> good thing if it were done by a meeting at 11 a.m. tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>Believe it or not&#8230; I don&#8217;t <i>have<\/i> to be here. I <i>want<\/i> to be here. I know with just a few extra hours I can get this thing done and in under the wire&#8230; I think. <\/p>\n<p>Well, I understand about 95% of the bug. The question is whether the last 5% will take 10 minutes, 2 hours, or have me scrambling.<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230; For the first time at this job; I decided to put in my requisite all night session.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m online and doing lots of little fixes for this bug. Meaning&#8230; 2-4 lines of code&#8230; build for 10 minutes&#8230;<br \/>\nleather, wince, re-beat.<\/p>\n<p>Translation: If you&#8217;re on late night tonight&#8230; Feel free to IM.
