This is why I have several jugs of water hanging out in my basement. For awhile as I would empty plastic jugs of whatever (juice, milk) I would rinse that jug out and fill it with water. People seem to think that I am strange and silly. It won’t last forever of course and will probably taste a little funky, but I’ll be able to flush a toilet and take microbaths if that ever happens to us.
