TV announcer Rod Roddy dead at ~66
People who know me, know that I am into voices. Voice artists, accents, announcers, cartoons.
Rod Roddy, while not the most famous one out there was the “Come on Down” voice for the Price is Right after Johnny Olsen. He was known for incredibly loud jackets.
My knowledge of Roddy actually predates that to the one of the all-time funny shows of television, “Soap”
Will Corrine find out about Jessica and Tom? Will Jessica find out about Corrine and Tom? Will Chester find out? Will Benson find out? Will Benson care?
Confused? You won’t be after next week’s… Soap
Rod, not many of us knew your face. Many of us will miss your voice and the smiles you brought to your words.
