Just spoke to a person on the phone to make a doctor’s appointment. Person had that gravelly, “I need to clear my throat” sound. This always bothers me in a voice. It actually makes me cringe. I have no idea why.
And yes, for the record. I really don’t like, “Betty Davis Eyes” by Kim Carnes or most of Rod Stewart or Bruce Springstein.

Pepsi co is currently doing a thing where you can win iTunes from their soda bottle caps. I had one last night and I’m not sure if it’s still around. If it is I’ll give it to you since we don’t use iTunes.
For similar reasons, I cannot tolerate Tom Waits at all.
Doesn’t matter that some people think he’s a poetic genius or whatever it is they like about him. I absolutely can’t stand to hear him make sounds with his voice.
