Actually, to be honest; I think Lehrer’s most brilliant use of lyric is from the opening of “We will all go together when we go”:

And you may have thought it tragic Not to mention other adjec- <-- not quite as brilliant, but still cool. -tives for all the weeping they will do. And yes, solcita; now that one is stuck in your head, too 😉

Lest you judge a note: I did this without looking at the questions. I just took my library and hit random. Also note: my library has a ton of Musicals and 80’s music simply because I collect them. many songs I have for the sake of having, not for the sake of regular listening. My list is however… frightening.
