I want to make my way to mass today but don’t have the exact time (I’ve told it might be different from the schedule) and/or directions to the temple location. (Directions including mass transit from Boston would be appreciated.)

We have just (about 10 minutes ago) gotten home from Kaaba. For those who don’t know the term, this is effectively the OTO’s sponsored leadership conference.
This was an knowledge packed weekend where higher ups who’ve been through the trenches gave a ton of information on organization, leadership, crisis management, proceedure primarily relating to OTO operation but applicable in far many areas.
It was much food for thought and much thought for…well, you get the idea.
My apologies to anyone who tried to reach me this weekend an any electronic forum. I have had nearly 0 connectivity. (And believe it or not.. I was okay with this.)
So… as for my schedule… I have a long week ahead.
at 8:30 am I take poor cute_evil to the vet for X-Rays
at 1:00 pm I have my first physical therapy appointment as prescribed by my doctor.
Then that evening I have a magickal working group that will discuss what we learned this weekend.
Tuesday is the local body quarterly community meeting. (Which may also feature more Kaaba brain dump), Wednesday and Thursday are fairly quiet.
Friday it all kicks off again when we do Minervals in Seattle at Horizon Oasis, then it is back to Portland for the weekend where I will be childing on Saturday. shimmeringjemmy will be vending her artwork at Sekhet-Maat Lodge in Portland. Then on Sunday we will be the Priest and Priestess for their afternoon mass.
Well it’s now been closer to 45 minutes to an hour from when I started typing this… So more soon.
So, tonight we needed to run into the city to deal with some paperwork with our local Body master for the OTO.
Translation, we went into the city to exchange paperwork and it turned into several hours of good red wine, chat, and hanging out with babalonyieh and regulus666. I have also discovered that once I get past the second glass of red wine, the next 6 glasses go much more easily. I discovered this also to the amusement of shimmeringjemmy. Well amusement and mild annoyance when my penchant for topic related stories became digressions that wouldn’t let her speak. So muchly bonding (that’s bonding not bondage) with our LB officers. (Also got to see all to briefly matertiamat) Inits in November are gonna be fuuuuunnnnnn 😀
I have to admit, that I really like regulus666 and babalonyieh. (I like matertiamat too, but didn’t get to hang out with her as much.) But the people I did spend the night chatting with… I like them more and more the more time I spend with them.
As you can probably tell from the writing style… still a touch of alcohol in the system. (See we started with this killer sweet desert wine)… I’d say I’m about 70+% to sober now. 🙂 I had a bottle of water on the ride home along with a muffin. (Blueberry I think). Had two pieces of bread once I got home. We’ll see how miserable I feel in the morning 🙂
With luck next week we’ll get to hang with jonah777 and family.

I caught rodneyorpheus online just after he’d made a post. I agree with a good bit of what he’s posted (but not all). Saying this may get me in a bit of hot water with the local communities, but … I’m not at this time going to go into what I did and didn’t agree with. (it’s late, and the shimmeringjemmy would like me to turn off the damned computer already 🙂
I addressed Rodney at one point after some logical deduction and questioning on my part in IM and the following transpired…

Me: Well, to be honest I have the urge to post, “I got an acquiescence from Rodney” on LJ, but I think I can avoid that much self humouring for myself.

So there you have it. Hopefully at some point I will gather the words to express how I feel, rather than traipsing thru some great vagueness. But the details weren’t important. Only that I found a point I disagreed with and was able to find a way to show the reasons. Happy pleased warm feelings.
