This Friday… The topic line should be your hint. s00j will be performing at the Horizon Oasis Temple.
Odds are highly likely that we will be packed in for that. (Small space, lots of SJ fans)
We will probably catch up on Doctor Who Saturday evening after the Cancer-North BBQ and social.

This was posted to me a few years ago… I posted it a little over 3 years ago. I felt like reposting it while I’m working on a more ‘researched’ post.
You know you’re living in the modern age when:
1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.
2. You haven’t played solitaire with real cards in years.
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.
4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.
5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don’t have e-mail addresses.
6. You go home after a long day at work you still answer the phone in a business manner.
7. You make phone calls from home, you accidentally dial “8” to get an outside line.
8. You’ve sat at the same desk for four years and worked for three Different companies.
10. You learn about your redundancy on the 11 o’clock news.
11. Your boss doesn’t have the ability to do your job.
12. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home.
13. Every commercial on television has a website at the bottom of the screen.
14. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn’t have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.
15. You get up in the morning and go online before getting your coffee.
16. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. 🙂
17. You’re reading this and nodding and laughing.
18. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.
19. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.
20. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn’t a #9 on this list AND NOW YOU ARE LAUGHING at yourself.
There have been many requests for us to not be quite so insular with the baby creature. 🙂
So… there are three things coming up starting/happening in September.
1) Friday Night Poker and game nights. (We don’t know when we’re starting or how often)
2) Heroes’ Marathon. The DVD’s came in. This is simply one of the BEST shows evah.
We will be hosting a Season 1 marathon. Possibly a Heroes debut party. (We don’t know when)
3) Thelema CIF-like classes will be happening again. Oh yes. We will be teaching ritual and other things.
So the questions for everyone is obviously… who is interested? When works?

shimmeringjemmy is off seeing the new Harry Potter film with… um… everyone else who survived.
Survived?
Well she and elocinnuala had a birthday party last night at the house. It was… It was big.
I’ve never had that many people show for a party we hosted. And especially since we’ve been doing them in BFN (no one likes traveling to Snohomish). We had people in from Yelm! Waves to the sidhefire
The ATC easily outnumbered the OTO 4 to 1. The bar showed up around 10. We also were treated to guests from gaiaconsort like suddenlynaked and an absolute treat from K and s00j. s00j performed a really new song. (She’d written it that day) and it was an unbelievable experience.
I don’t think anyone left unhappy. Though a few of our folks did try to find solace away from the din. I don’t blame them at all… I know I did.
I think all tolled there were close to 40 people give or take.
And we only got one polite complaint from a neighbor.
