It would seem that the office has replaced a networking card in their firewall machine. Our team’s subnet is not supposed to be firewalled. Unfortunately, in replacing the card, we have been firewalled in again. So far this kills the following processes:
Yahoo messenger: Java and local client
AOL Instant Message
iDisk: Web DAV mounting
Secure FTP
Loading email: Eudora, OE, Mulberry
Blah.

Well, to start of I should point out that I’m not exactly typing this Journal entry. I bought a copy of ViaVoice this weekend at the Apple Store in Palo Alto. So far I’m really, really impressed with it. But, more on that later.
On the road to SF to hopefully have a good time. Mind is split wondering about someone I care about who i know is going thru a hard time and trying to be absolutely true to me so that I’m living my life.
It’s the realiztion that we’ve really been given more freedom than we really perceive we have. The freedom and responsibility can be very scary.
So.. the drive begins. None the less. I leave a piece of my mind here hoping that some of my enjoyment leaks to another so they can make it thru the weekend a little happier.
