Greetings members and friends of Blue Horizon Camp!

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.

On Wednesday, August 21st at 8:00p, we are pleased to have our very own Frater Alandru present a class on Exploring the Tarot.

We invite you to the first of a three class series on the Tarot, encompassing material from beginner level understanding of the tarot decks, basic spreads and the history of the tarot through advanced comparative deck theory and Kaballistic interpretations. Bring your own deck, or use one of the decks provided by Frater Alandru. This is me

This first class covers an introduction to the cards, as well as an introduction to basic spreads.

A $5.00 donation to cover the cost of materials and to support the camp is suggested for class attendance. As a special offer, you can prepay all three classes for $20 and receive your own Tarot deck at the first class. Please contact Frater Seraphino to arrange prepayment.

For more information on this class, or for more information on any Blue Horizon events, please visit our web site at http://www.bluehorizon-oto.org, or write Frater Seraphino at secretary@bluehorizon-oto.org.

Love is the law, love under will.

Friday Five

  1. Do you have a car? If so, what kind of car is it?
  2. 94 Saturn SL2. It just passed 100,000 mi. (I got it used from a Saturn dealer at 42K)
    It is now paid for!

  3. Do you drive very often?
  4. 45 minutes each way to work. Every weekday.

  5. What’s your dream car?
  6. Something about halfway between an Aerostar with all the trimmings and an Alfa Romero Spider Veloce.

  7. Have you ever received a ticket?
  8. I went 15+ years without a ticket and then got 3 within a year of moving to California.

  9. Have you ever been in an accident?
  10. HS #1 spun out on ice. No damage
HS #2 Rear-ended the female gym teacher. Crumpled the front of the new Dodge Lancer the family had just gotten
College: Dark, bad curve in W.V. kicked rocks into the drive-train and left me with a totaled rental. Humourously, I had an LDW so the only charge for totaling the car was the $15, because I’d cracked the gas tank. I had paid to return it full, and it leaked out.
Post college: French kissed a 5 point deer coming around a blind curve.

    4 accidents. No injuries.

I think I’m just about ready to go prime time with this. is hoping to be the point where you can locate SF/fantasy/gaming cons in your area. Set up places to meet with people, and maybe even get the inside track on some of the special stuff at upcoming cons.

has a calendar up at its yahoo group “con_central” the calendar currently has 18 upcoming cons posted (7 in August) and is adding more all the time.

Come poke around, ideas, suggestions, and volunteers are warmly welcomed.
