I don’t think Reuters would report something that could be easily debunked on Snopes. It is wierd though
There are several legitimate news sources that have reported urban legends, so not entirely crazy to think that it might be happening again. The stories are fun and sound kind of factual, so it’s a good “filler” or “feel good” piece.
I can understand doubting Reuters, it *is* a reliable news source, just not a perfect one.
