Oh, lordy, yes. What a wonderful Episode! We all laughed so hard!!!
But…
Turkeys can fly… or at least they think they can… Just ask my mom and the one that “attacked” her front windshield at one point a couple years back! 😛
Re: But…
*Wild* turkeys can definitely fly! A number of years ago, we looked the living room window of our house in Pennsylvania to 50 (!) wild turkeys. They set up perimeter guards and lookouts in the trees.
One of our cats was outside at the time. She made the silly mistake of thinking she could take them on. It wasn’t too long before we heard a frantic scrabbling up the brick and a desperate plea at the window, “Let me in! It’s Birdzilla out there!!”
Fortunately, it didn’t take too long for her to heal … at least physically. I’m not sure she’ll ever recover from the trauma.
Re: But…
LOL…. Sorry I didn’t see this before… The whole missing email updates…
My mom had to deal with a wild turkey flying at her windshield as she was happily driving along a main road near her house. The thing spread its wings and basically made to attack her front windshield. She’s lucky she missed it in time.
And cats thinking that they are huge beasts of power is always funny even if the end results aren’t. I bet you she won’t take on another large bird though 🙂
Best. Episode. Ever.
Les Nessman’s broadcast of the event was priceless in its horrorstruck tones.
That is the best retro thing i’ve seen all day.
It is also the funniest thing to happen on TV in the entire 80’s.
