I hate customer service. I hate scripts that they follow, I hate the fact that they are too oblivious to see a problem when explained.
It can make one understand why there are people who go on shooting sprees.

Why hide the name of a place that has such bad service? I wouldn’t want to order anything from them…
You should have asked what the weather was like in Dehli.
Most people who work customer service also hate it and the scripts which they are asked to follow. It kills the spirit. I’ve worked such positions where I had access to info but not the ability to “fix” customer problems or address complaints. It sucked for both parties. I don’t think it necessarily makes them oblivious or stupid though. It sounds like you handled it well though and you didn’t yell at them or threaten their life. Anyway, it does sound frustrating and I hope you get your package soon.
Shoulda made him call the money people while you had him. I won’t let dopes like that off the phone (or online conversation) until *they* get a name correcting the $ issue.
