Preprocess to file
/P
You can also you /E to send to stdout
Re: Preprocess to file
/P and /E both dump the preprocess after the #defines have come through.
I’m looking for a dump of the environment defines before and without the actual preprocess of the source.
Re: Preprocess to file
!message in your makefile
Re: Preprocess to file
Not sure I understand what that means.
What is !message
Re: Preprocess to file
In your makefile:
!message OS is $(OS)
In your build.log will be:
OS is Windows_NT
I don’t know if there is a compiler flag to do something similar, and I build from a command line using build.exe and ‘sources’ and ‘makefile’.
