I am so verrry broken

And now for your walk down amnesia lane. A series of lines from 80’s comedy, “Night Court

[Dan breaks down crying the night after his date]
Dan Fielding: Women.
Harry Stone: So, who was it last night? The Soviet gymnast?
Mac Robinson: The farmer’s daughter?
Bull Shannon: One of those rubber-jointed ladies from the freak shows that like to be handcuffed and thrown around the room by their ponytails, screaming for mercy until they black out?
[Stares from everyone]
Bull Shannon: What?

Rereading this gave me the uncontrollable giggles. But then again, I remember what the cast looked like. 🙂

Advertising leak for the smallest iPod ever.

Today I was asked how I could be recognized when meeting them.

I then thought about what I’d be likely to be wearing.

I’ll be wearing primarily black, with a mac t-shirt and probably carrying a black backpack

… to come across the site: sourceryforge.org

To those who don’t get the humour, there is a DIY source code site for developers called sourceforge.

I was driven there by a term: hypersigil

So I meandered the site and of course had to look up the O.T.O.

There was an amusingly well written, albeit biting comment.

The Book of the Law was written by Aleister Crowley in 1904. Crowley described the book as “received”. This, in Occultism, is supposed to mean that it was transmitted to him by some spiritual entity via occult means. (the reader may be interested to check Skepticism).

Amusing…

So, lately, I’ve gotten in the habit of actually using DirecTV to watch movies that otherwise I just wouldn’t typically watch… well, willingly.

Today’s was “Little Nicky“, Adam Sandler’s son-of-the-devil film.

This was actually a surprisingly good film. I am horrifically surprised and a bit ashamed.

But… go rent it.

As for Seattle and catching up… more posts forthcoming.
