Jenn sent me this link. I’d not seen the original.

For our own sanity. Don’t go, don’t look. AHHHHHH!!! Aiiigghhh! I can’t get the image or the sound out of my head!!!

Grrr. 😉

Concerning Dilbert

Today schnookiemuffin asked me why I don’t read Dilbert anymore. My stock answer was, “It’s just too painful.” I decided that this doesn’t make a lot of sense so I managed to come up with a clearer reason today:

From earlier conversation:
I can’t read Dilbert because it just plain isn’t funny anymore. Too real. I go to comics to see outrageous things that are funny because they can’t happen. Not outrageous because they do…

Does anyone else get this? I mean I have no problem with UserFriendly (which I’m about 3 months behind on) or Helen or GPF (The latter 2 of which I really haven’t read in years)

Just more random short comments for the day

thanks to all

Several have asked today….

I’m doing much better today. I was very down yesterday. (MODF)

Saturday night in my elation at my acquisition I went to bed at about 3:30am and read collection pieces until 5:30am.
Sunday I woke up at 10:30am and then again at 1:30pm.

I had to cancel another rehearsal at 1am when I read that one of my main actresses wouldn’t be there.

Sunday, I accomplished _very_ little.

I fixed some code in the upcoming release of
I got a web cam working at home
had pleasant conversations with schnookiemuffin and ijikeru

More soon

I’ve had close to a dozen inquiries on the new collection. Like I said I’m only about 15% of the way thru. It’s a very long and tedious process.

Each book gets priced by current Wizard standards (mainstream books and the occasional independent titles)
Each book is then visually checked for condition and the price is adjusted appropriately.
The book is recorded with name, issue, condition, price, year of acquisition, acquisition price, current value
(Happily my system updates the prices automatically.)

Once this is all in, I’ll take the list of requests I’ve been getting and search my database and see if the books are in there 😉

More soon!
