I learned this evening that someone I know almost died very tragically this morning. Upon finding this out…I discovered that I really don’t know the person as well as I’d like to. It could be distance, it could be that I never took the time to really get to know this person, or it could be that I at times can be a walking relationship trauma and this makes people back away from me; especially if they sense I may be attracted to them.
None the less, my prayers and thanks to any god forms that mean anything to me go out on the behalf and fact that this person survived and managed to walk away from a horrendous accident, mostly, physically undamaged.
Personally, I hope that I get to talk more with this person (once they recover) and if they make it to this part of the world, as I believe that we do have a similar philosophy in somethings.
For now, I am simply glad that an acquaintance is not gone.
