My team wants to hit a software milestone in the next week. I have been invited to spend the holiday weekend (including Monday) in my office running QA tests.
Note: I am a developer and am running QA tests over the weekend because they laid off some of our QA last year not thinking we might in fact… need them.
It’s more bothersome than that because the rest of the developers from an adjacent team that has already hit their milestone, sit around playing online Risk with other members of my team.
Did I mention that they turn off the air conditioning on the weekend and holidays?
Anyone wanna trump that?
