As some know, a large storm is currently hitting my town. Really high winds. These are the kind of winds where satellite dishes get moved just enough so that the Superbowl may not be viewable tomorrow from the house.
That being said, I went to look at the local forecast.
What drives me nuts is the add above the Doppler Radar for a matching service.

Yesterday, shimmeringjemmy posted that someone is selling Real Seattle Rain Water on Ebay. Here’s the link to Ebay.
Since then, the water has received 4 bids, met its reserve and is now having regular photographic updates of its travels around Seattle.
How long until Seattle Metro-blogging picks up a story on this new local folk hero!??!
Well, Dec/Jan were slow posting months. I suppose this was a good thing. Life was keeping me busy.
In December two new people really entered my life. On the 24th I discovered that my dear shimmeringjemmy was pregnant. During that month I also started a new relationship. (Yes, kids… Poly… Deal)
January was equally busy with the surprises that both changes can bring.
On the down side, the accident has really slowed me down more than I expected. This past week I received confirmation from my doctor that an MRI shows that I have a broken disc in my back. I have to be very careful now how I hold my back and how long I remain either standing or sitting. I have regular back flare ups which are handled with muscle relaxants and pain relievers. Fortunately, my PIP covers this.
As I head into February, I’m now pushing harder on the job search again. This is complicated by providing first trimester care and the complications with my back.
In the past month I’ve picked up 18 readers and lost 5.
