Last week I made a post.
I auditioned for my first show in nearly 10 years. The show had the potential of actually paying its actors if it broke even.
Now, a note on the world of professional, semi-professional, and amateur theatre.
There are more people going for the job you want that in the computer industry.
A computer position can interview 5-10-15 candidates.
A show can audition 25 and then shoot you down on the case of: Race, Gender, Age, Weight, voice, attitude.
This past year, every interview I’ve gone to has yielded disappointment.
Today… I accepted the role that I nailed at auditions.
I am once again an actor.
Life can be funny.
A few months ago I had my Yahoo acct compromised. I’d been phished by an IM virus.
The way this works is that someone you know will send you a link to a web page… typically managed by something major. Like Yahoo.
The only problem is, it’s not Yahoo. It’s a page owned by someone else.
It realllly looks like Yahoo. If you log onto it (thinking it’s Yahoo) the page will come back telling you that the server is down.
In the mean time, the Username/Password is now the possession of the people that put up the web page.
What will happen next is that an automated system will use your Username and Password to log onto Yahoo Messenger. It will promptly log you off and change your password. Next, it will send the same message you received with the Evil URL to people on your friends list.
This is to bait people on your behalf.

So.. warning… it’s out there. And good luck to AlSv… That’s the account that has me on the buddy list that’s been compromised sending to me.
So, I first saw this one from princekermit
I liked it muchly.
I have pulled 5 photos off of google’s image search for 5 of my all time favourite movies. All you have to do is guess what they are. And to truly be a meme, you must then go forth and do this too. But personally… I don’t care about that part.
Now.. I couldn’t make it too easy. In some cases I’ve edited out of the picture some ‘well, that’s damned obvious’ part. I’ve also loaded them to my own server… so looking at the image links won’t help either.
Comments are screened, I’ll post answers the people who guess them as they come in… Over time I’ll post hints if necessary. I love this stuff. 🙂
