Punchy and tired

Nearing the end of my second week of work. My body is okay with the getting up at 5 a.m. part. I even get out the door by 5:30. If I’m at work by 6 that means I can leave by 3 with an hour lunch. Earlier with less of a lunch.

The down side is that my body hasn’t acclimated to what it needs to do to prepare for getting up at 5 a.m. I can’t reall get to sleep until around midnight. Ooh! 5 hours of sleep. (Because I go right to sleep when my head hits the pillow. Oh yeah, Yup, yesseree bob (sigh))

I hate going to bed before 11. However, with the 5am rise… I may have to push back…

Yigh… Sleep again soon. 😉

Especially mine

Yes, dear readers… I’m in a relatively foul mood this evening.

And before people start pointing fingers at themselves it is no one person or even that has me in this mind set. It’s a string of lots of little things. And the emphasis is on lots.

For those who know me very well, this may explain.

Today I installed Windows XP on my Mac Laptop.

This may be the most enjoyable thing that happened today and most of the weekend.

*sigh*

Comments are screened so I don’t have to initially respond to the onslaught of, “Was it me? I thought we were okay” since it wasn’t you.

This morning I read the following on the BBC NEWS website:

Nigeria’s president has told security services to uncover the cause of a deadly blast at a pipeline near Lagos.

More than 150 people died on Friday, many burnt beyond recognition, when petrol exploded while gushing from a suspected tapped pipeline.

A spokesman for President Olusegun Obasanjo said he had ordered a thorough police investigation and increased protection for other pipelines.

Some 2,000 people have died in similar incidents in Nigeria in recent years.

I can already see the followup on The Onion:
