A sad post…

The mother of a friend of mine has passed recently. I have been trying to keep up with status and wishes through one of her partners.

I haven’t said anything directly to her during this time because when I’m personally going through very difficult times I don’t necessarily want everyone in the room running to me. I want the people closest to me who know me inside and out to be there when I might act a little more erratically. Again this is my own practice.

None the less, I have been concerned and sending well wishes throughout as best I can. It is hard to understand the relationship between a daughter and her mother for me. As a son my relationship with my own mother was… Well, to use the word strained would be …

The important this is that someone I care about is hurting and healing. And I can only wish the best for her and her mother, and her family around her.

Unto them from whose eyes the veil of life hath fallen may there be granted the accomplishment of their true Wills; whether they will absorption in the Infinite, or to be united with their chosen and preferred, or to be in contemplation, or to be at peace, or to achieve the labor and heroism of incarnation on this planet or another, or in any Star, or aught else, unto them may there be granted the accomplishment of their Wills, yea, the accomplishment of their Wills.

A fun post…. My type

EditThis post was filtered “Friends only”. It is now public

I think that we come pre wired with ‘types’ that we like.

It took me the longest time to figure out why I got hooked on shadesong‘s journal. There’s a geek look that always manages to catch my eye. Call it my ‘first impression’

And if there is any doubt that you lock onto an image and it sticks, allow me to demonstrate with a scary parallel with one of my oldest and dearest friends who I love dearly and will til’ I die, Next to the more recent journal I’ve added.

And yes… as a kid, Lala Ward was meant to be mine.

EDIT:Being Poly means never having to say, “Oh, yeah. You too honey.” Because she already knows how much you love her, and the only time you say it is because you want to… not because you have to.

Kurt (my coworker) is of Japanese dissent(sic).

He often has the absolutely strangest links sent to him.

Today… learn Japanese
