I’ve always had this belief that viruses and bacterium work on multiple levels in different directions.
Everyone knows when they catch a bug because their physical state deteriorates. Personally, I believe there are good bacteria and viruses out there that we get on occasion on those days when we feel really good. There are those days when you wake up feeling really good. But even that is not quite accurate.
The truth is, on those days you feel really good, you may just be willing to ignore the annoyance of the pain in that one joint you always have. See, on a day when you’ve got the positive-physical bug, that’s the day that you suddenly use that joint and there’s no pain. Your body just decides it’s in better shape than usual.
So, what about that idea of waking up and feeling good? Well, if we can have positive and negative physical bugs. There must be others. I think there are intellectual, emotional, creative, magickal, interactive, and any number of undiscovered ones.
Case in point: This week I caught a sample of the currently floating goo. It started as a tickle in my throat, expanded thru my sinuses, and landed in my chest. It took out my energy for a few days and my focus.
So what does this all mean?
Today, I’ve been sitting here looking at code and having no idea what to do with it. I feel like I should just pick up a printout, rip it into confetti and say, “Whee!” I’ve done stuff like this in the past, but today it’s all just… Uh… Uh…..
I need to shake this ‘stupid’ virus I have. I’d been having a good run of positive brain bug. I need that one back.
Uh…. Uh……
Next thing we know you’ll be dressing in gingham and quarantining us..
hee hee hee hee hee
Are you sure you aren’t just burned out?
BTW, some emotional problems are due to brain chemistry, throwing them into the physical ailments category.
Interesting theory about the days you wake up feeling good. I’ve only achieved “less bad” lately. I need more sleep. I’m pretty sure I’m getting those joint ouches and back soreness a tad worse because of less repair time in sleep.
Wheee!!! is good for you. Perhaps your brain is writing you a prescription.
