I wasn’t necessarily accusing *you* of taking it too seriously, but you *did* put it in your LJ, didn’t you! 😉 Yeah, *intent* doesn’t always come across in the e-universe, and *anyone* could think that you support this stuff, y’know.
I must admit that I get a bit confused when people who say they don’t believe in this stuff actually take the time and effort to wade through it and talk about it or post about it. I’m not sure how to take that. I think the fact that so many people go on about it contributes to its spread. Some people along this chain of people won’t laugh, and will *care* about the results. And that saddens me.
As I said before, I was raised by a rabid Astrologer, who would stereotype anyone as arbitrarily as a Racist would. So I run screaming from all this sort of stuff. Perhaps that sounds extreme, but I don’t like *anyone* thinking they know *anything* about me by looking at stupid things like palm lines or my date of birth. Or telling me who I should or shouldn’t date. Yeah, I’m sensitive 😉 .
