Many of you have seen Rob Paravonian’s amazing treatise on Pachelbel’s Canon in D.
This is a very interesting take on the piece.
shimmeringjemmy was changing aiden_freeman this morning.
Aiden has decided that this is no longer an activity he wants to help with and would rather use it as an opportunity to be elsewhere.
As a result, we have taken to trying to engage him to distract him from changing time.
Sometimes it is games and sounds, sometimes it is just pinning his shoulders down (in a gentle, parental manner), usually it is talking.
Today’s morning talk from shimmeringjemmy didn’t quite go as planned.
“Free the crotch. Free the crotch.
It’s sort of like ‘Free Willy’, but not really.”
(pause)…
I start to laugh like a puerile teen-ager.
“Okay… maybe it’s exactly like ‘Free Willy’
I am down for the count.
…recently got a new computer at her office.
She remarked that it did not have a floppy drive.
This reminded me of a comic that is now almost 10 years old.
I think the comic stands for itself.
